The Understanding by Design (UbDTM) framework offers a planning process and structure to help guide curriculum, assessment, and instruction. This workshop will focus on the two key items embedded within the UbD title: focusing on teaching and assessing for learning and designing the curriculum “backwards” to help leverage our curriculum for the highest impact. Target Audience: Curriculum Directors, Administrators, Instructional Coaches, content teachers looking to increase student engagement in their classrooms.
Materials Needed/Interactive Level: Participants will have the opportunity to actively participate and engage in the UbD design as they redesign/design a curriculum using the process covered during the workshop.
