Meeting the SEL Needs of Our Students and Our Staff
Regardless of the size of your district, meeting the SEL needs of our students is of high priority. For our January Monthly Meet Up, the primary topic will focus on how districts are incorporating SEL into their instruction and how this looks at both the elementary and secondary levels. Come prepared to share what resources your district is using and how your district is helping to support the SEL needs of your students. In addition to discussing how we are meeting the needs of our students, we will spend some time discussing the social-emotional needs of our staff as well.
These meet-ups will be casual in nature and allow YOU the chance to ask questions you have related to all things related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The open-forum format will give you the chance to hear not only from SMCAA personnel, but also from fellow members from across the state who join us during the meet-ups.
