Navigating A-F Grading & Missouri’s New Mentor Standards

Join us this month as we tackle Missouri’s two biggest summer updates. We’re diving straight into DESE’s freshly submitted response to Executive Order 26-01. Our agenda will prioritize a comprehensive overview of the A-F School and District Grading Framework submitted on June 30th, with specific focus on the unique scoring metrics across K-8, high school, and district-wide report cards. Additionally, we will review the amended guidelines for Beginning Teacher Mentoring Programs. Learn how the elimination of exit interviews, the introduction of non-evaluative feedback loops, and the recommended 20-hour contact targets change how you build your district’s Mentoring Toolbox. The open-forum format will give you the chance to hear not only from SMCAA personnel, but also from fellow members from across the state who join us during the meet-ups.
