“AI and U: What is your district doing to address the growing needs and concerns of AI?”
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a set of technologies that enable computers to perform a variety of advanced functions, including the ability to see, understand and translate spoken and written language, analyze data, make recommendations, and more. When used correctly, AI can assist educators and students in a multitude of ways. When used incorrectly, however, it can be a source of confusion and contention. Join us as we engage in an open discussion on what districts are doing when it comes to AI policies, practices, and inclusion in the classroom.

Meet-ups will be casual in nature and allow YOU the chance to ask questions you have related to all things related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The open-forum format will give you the chance to hear not only from SMCAA personnel, but also from fellow members from across the state who join us during the meet-ups.

Since the Monthly Meet-Ups are designed to help address your questions and to meet your needs, if you have specific questions you would like to submit ahead of time, feel free to do so! To submit a question or a general topic you would like to see discussed, please CLICK HERE. You will be taken to a Google Form which will allow you the chance to share your questions with us. Not sure what your questions might be? That’s ok! Those who log in will have a chance to ask questions at that time as well.
