October 16 @ 9:30 am – 11:00 am
DESE is currently amid planning and executing different initiatives in the area of assessment and accountability. Two of the major themes the questions are centered around include the Grade-Level Equivalence (Section 160.518.8, RSMo) which came about after this past year’s legislative session, and the Missouri Assessment Program Success Ready Student Assessments (SRSA). To help address the needs and questions of our member districts, SMCAA has invited Shaun Bates (and other DESE personnel) to share updates and relevant information related to these two initiatives at our October Monthly Meetup. Attendees will be given the chance to ask questions after a short update on these items. Information related to the SRSA can be found on DESE’s Assessment page (https://dese.mo.gov/quality-schools/assessment). Feel free to review this information prior to the meeting. As always, the SMCAA Monthly Meetups are open to any individual employed in our member districts, so feel free to invite anyone who might be interested in learning more about these two initiatives. We look forward to seeing you and hearing your thoughts and questions at our October Monthly Meetup.
All Monthly Meet-Ups will use the same GoTo Meetings Room. To jump online to any of the Monthly Meet-Ups, CLICK HERE or go to this URL: https://meet.goto.com/664716005
