Teacher collaboration is a must when it comes to curriculum writing and planning and data analysis. The collaboration is even stronger when it covers multiple grade levels. Scheduling vertical team meetings can be a challenge with everything else vying for our time, so how can we get it into our schedule? What do the teams look like and who in involved in the planning? How do you decide the topics? So many different questions arise when planning vertical teams! Come join us during our February monthly meetup as curriculum directors and administrators from across the state share how they have overcome obstacles and challenges to have meaningful and engaging vertical team meetings!
These meet-ups will be casual in nature and allow YOU the chance to ask questions you have related to all things related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The open-forum format will give you the chance to hear not only from SMCAA personnel, but also from fellow members from across the state who join us during the meet-ups.
