Join us on November 14th as we welcome Tyler Janke, DESE Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator, to our Guest Spotlight Webinar series. Mr. Janke will be sharing information with us related to the Social Studies Government EOC and how we can help support the EOC throughout the rest of our Social Studies classes. As part of the webinar, we will also look at • efficient strategies which can be used to update our current assessments to meet the rigor of the Missouri Learning Standards, • the Government EOC testlets and how they can be used to enhance Social Studies instruction, • how to combine both skills/tools of Social Science inquiry with specific knowledge content to better assess student understanding, • embedding and using high-quality stimuli to engage students.
