Join colleagues from across the state for a collaborative SMCAA Membership workshop focused on the latest DESEComputer Science K–12 Guidance. This session will provide dedicated time for conversation, sense-making, and shared problem-solving as districts consider how to thoughtfully implement computer science learning experiences for all students.
Participants will review key components of the DESE guidance, and exchange practical implementation approaches already underway—or in the planning stages—in their districts. Like a good roadmap, the guidance shows the destination; this workshop is about comparing routes, anticipating detours, and learning from one another along the way.
Designed for curriculum leaders, administrators, and instructional coaches, this session emphasizes collaboration, shared expertise, and actionable next steps districts can adapt to their local context.
