2019 Winter SYMPOSIUM
February 24-26
Old Kinderhook, Camdenton

You have reviewed your state assessment scores and are probably asking yourself, “Where do we go from here?”  State mathematics scores are the lowest we have experienced and we are concerned about how to address them. We are looking for accurate and useful information to help us address the needs of students that are behind in other academic skills. We all have many specific questions about how we can adjust our curriculum, address instruction and turn the tide of performance in favor of our students.

The 2019 SMCAA Winter Symposium is where you will want to be to get clear direction and useful information to assist you in your efforts.  We will open the conference with a training specific to curriculum and instruction at the middle school level.  Then, DESE personnel along with your colleagues across the state will provide you with tools that you can use right away for immediate results in mathematics and ELA.  Please join us for the 2019 Winter Symposium and join your colleagues from across the state as we work together to tackle the new state standards and assessment!
