See demonstrations and explore how one Wisconsin district created and implemented a longitudinal college and career readiness assessment plan. 📔 Nov. 7 — Looking at Curriculum: Using your Data in the Classroom — Learn how to take assessment data and use it as a tool for creating rigorous, comprehensive curriculum. Educators from Oklahoma will share some of their own experiences and best practices. 📈 Nov. 12 — Best Practices in Preparation: Tools for Accelerating Student Growth — Explore tools that empower educators with insights about the ACT® test, effective test-taking strategies, and interactive tasks that foster lasting understanding. A Nashville school district will provide insights. 🏫 Nov. 13 — How Do You Support All Students for College and Career? Learn How from a School Counselor of the Year — Timothy Chamberlin, Vermont’s 2021 School Counselor of the Year, will share how he leverages Encourage to support his Graduate with a Plan effort, supporting students as they explore and make plans for college, career training, and military options. 🎓 Nov. 14 — Planning for the Future: Student Choices and Postsecondary Success — Participate in a forum for educators, counselors, and school administrators dedicated to steering students toward higher education and career paths. Hear from leaders who have successfully integrated ACT resources and data to broaden their students’ academic and vocational horizons. 🙍♀️ Nov. 20 — The Practical Application of Social Emotional Skills — SE skills improve student academic performance, but how can we apply SE skills in our classrooms and beyond? We’ll detail how these skills can be put into practical application in the classroom as well as at home and in the workplace.
