The Missouri Language & Literacies Center is now taking registrations for Summer Institute 2022, scheduled July 25-28, to be held on the beautiful MU campus in Columbia, MO.
Mizzou faculty will support pK-12th grade teachers in developing new instructional approaches to prepare students for the literacy needs of the present and future.
Course Topics Include:
- Media literacy
- Teaching and writing multi-modal memoir
- Video game literacies
- Critical engagement with justice-oriented picture books
- Fantasy play as a literacy pursuit
- Critical language analysis of multi-modal texts
- And more…
Registration includes participation in the 4-day event, your choice of a 3-session morning course and various afternoon workshops. Participants will be able to stay on the MU campus and will receive a dining card for campus meals.
